The Contemporary Arts Museum Houston is a not-for-profit, non-collecting institution dedicated to presenting the art of our time to the local, regional, national, and international public.

CAMH is wheelchair accessible. Exhibition labels are available in large print at the front desk.
SCHOOL AND GROUP TOURS
Schools and other groups may schedule a tour of any exhibition, free of charge, with a specially trained Museum guide. Please email Jamal Cyrus or call 713 284 8274 at least 10 days in advance of your visit.

AT THE MUSEUM
Audio Guides are available for free at the Museum front desk, and feature comments by curators and exhibiting artists, as well as scholars from different fields who bring their own unique perspectives.
Family Guides are designed for children of all ages, and provide opportunities for exploration, discovery, and conversation about the art on view. The guides are available for free at the Museum front desk. La Guia para Familias tambien está disponible en Español.
Our FAQteam (Frequently Asked Questions team) is available on Thursdays (3-9PM), Saturdays (11AM-5PM), and Sundays (1-4PM) to answer questions about our exhibitions, about contemporary art in general, or to give quick on-the-spot tours. The FAQteam is a group of young artists and art historians who study each exhibition in order to discuss the work and answer questions for Museum visitors. No appointment is necessary.
