Drop-In Experience: Mindful Observation
Participants will experiment with movement and breath-work as tools to delve deeper into observation. All levels are welcome to play with the idea of clearing their minds to better see the works from a place of non-judgment. Each session will run 30 mins, stay for all or some and explore on your own!

Our FAQ Team (Frequently Asked Questions team) is available on Saturdays from 1–4PM free of charge to lead guided tours, answer questions about our exhibitions and contemporary art in general. In approaching Rosen’s work, Kittelson will speak about his interest in materials and processes of making. Lecture: Jenni Sorkin: Annabeth Rosen in Context: Ceramics in the 1980s and Beyond

Since the early 1980s, Annabeth Rosen has made ceramic sculpture that utilizes accumulation as a primary approach to form building. A prolific and gifted artist, Rosen is underknown but significant: she is one of the few women ceramists to make large-scale biomorphic forms using a painterly approach. Join renowned Art Historian Jenni Sorkin as she examines Rosen in context, in relation to the history of post-war ceramics, and its intersections with sculpture, painting, and installation.

Celebrating over 25 years of art and elegance, Another Great Night in November is a unique femme fête full of stunning art, healthy competition, and Houston's most spectacular women. This girls-only soirée deemed by PaperCity as, "one of the season’s most elegant affairs," has garnered an enthusiastic following of Houston's finest ladies and contemporary art lovers. The evening included our popular cocktail hour quiz, as well as an elegant seated dinner, and prizes generously provided by our retail sponsor.
2017's Another Great Night in November is hosted by Martha Finger.
Proceeds from the evening benefitted CAMH’s exhibitions and education and outreach programs.
