
Join Olivia Ek, the 2022–23 University of Houston Curatorial Fellow at CAMH, for a discussion about the exhibition, Diane Severin Nguyen: IF REVOLUTION IS A SICKNESS.
In this discussion, Ek will explore Nguyen’s highly staged photographs, which depict both organic and synthetic materials, and their often contradictory and multiple allusions and affects.
Light lunch will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are encouraged as space is limited.
Location and Accessibility
This event will consist of a walkthrough of the exhibition in the Brown Foundation Gallery, located on the main level of the Museum. Please note: no seating will be provided as the talk will encompass the entire gallery space.

About Olivia Ek
Olivia Ek is the 2022–23 University of Houston (UH) Curatorial Fellow at CAMH. She is currently an MA candidate in Art History at UH with a concentration in Modern and Contemporary Art, and holds a BA from Emerson College in Boston. Previously, Ek was a Curatorial Intern at Blaffer Art Museum (Houston), where she curated the 2022 UH Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition. Her writing has been published in The Theatre Times.
