About Teen Council

Composed of 14 young arts enthusiasts, Teen Council serves at the Museum’s vehicle for attracting the city’s teen population to CAMH and exposing them to the vibrant field of contemporary art. For council members, the group serves as a highly collaborative creative incubator that opens up opportunities for leadership, visual literacy, and life skill development. During weekly meetings, the council is introduced to the inner workings of museums and to the dynamic Houston arts community. Activities are decided upon by its members and can change from year to year, but past programs developed by the group include art markets, exhibitions, fashion shows, film screenings, listening parties, music festivals, and poetry slams.

About Virtual Drop-In Experiences

CAMH’s Drop-In Experiences feature instructions for pop-up activities you can do in-person or at home. Each hands-on activity provides creative opportunities to experience current exhibitions from a distance in a unique and meaningful way.

Drop-In Experiences are available in-person between 1–4PM every Saturday and released on our website at 1PM every Saturday. All ages, always free.

In-person activities are low and no contact and designed with the safety of our visitors, staff, and community in mind. Visit our Museum From Home page for more hands-on activities you can enjoy anytime!
