About

Join us for a one-of-a-kind collaboration-driven art-making experience, focusing on students and relieving the stress of classes and finals at the end of the Fall semester.

This collaborative art installation, led by Lone Star College and San Jacinto College Professor Rosemary Cantu, originated in her Summer Arts 1301 course at Lone Star College and was brought to life by Fall Arts 1301 students. Centered on the theme of student mental health, this project explores stress through the lens of coping and resilience. Through hands-on participation, students are creating a hanging installation that invites the broader college community to share experiences, build connections, and contribute to a collective expression of strength—illuminating how challenges overlap while emphasizing the optimistic resolve to overcome adversity.

Students, as well as their friends and family, are invited to join in this hands-on activity.
