Spring Break Drawing Outpost at Eldorado Ballroom

March 12 | 1:00PM - 4:00PM
Eldorado Ballroom

About

Join CAMH at Eldorado Ballroom at Project Row Houses for a drop-in outpost inspired by CAMH’s exhibition Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe and focusing on drawing-based art-making activities with artist Nathaniel Donnett.

This Spring Break Drawing Outpost invites you to explore the imagination by interpreting our everyday lives through abstraction and representational collage, examining objects, environments, thoughts, and bodies. To rethink these perspectives, we will engage with collage through drawing and photography as processes and with the surrounding landscape as inspiration. The workshop reimagines alternative ways to consider what material means and its potential to mean something different, while most importantly, having fun.

Attendees of each workshop are invited to choose one drawing that will be on view in CAMH’s Cullen Education Resource Room for the duration of the Spring Break Community Celebration.

All supplies will be provided.

Join us for only one or all of our Spring Break Drawing Outposts. Guests 16 or younger must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult. RSVP is required.

Registration for the Eldorado Ballroom Drawing Outpost does not register you for all 3. Explore the other Drawing Outposts:
