Join Inprint and CAMH for an interactive writing activity that will flex your creative muscles in Stonewall 50, an exhibition showcasing photographs, paintings, films and videos, sculptures, performances, and other media. The content of the work contains powerful themes that provide rich content for contemplation and discussion. Writer Justin Jannise will guide attendees in this free workshop in response to the exhibition. Experience for yourself the rewards and pleasures of creative writing. After the Inprint Writing Workout, enjoy a reading by local poets and writers, curated by poet and Rice professor Dr. Joseph Campana.

About Justin Jannise

Justin Jannise studied poetry at Yale University,  (New Haven, Connecticut) and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop,  (Iowa City) and is currently a PhD student at the University of Houston , (Texas). His work has appeared or is forthcoming in Copper Nickel, New Ohio Review, Columbia Journal, Yale Review, The Awl, and Zócalo Public Square. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Gulf Coast: A Journal of Fine Arts and Literature and the recipient of an Inprint Marion Barthelme Prize.
