About Felice Q. Cleveland
Felice Q. Cleveland has served as the Director of Education and Public Programs at CAMH since 2016. Prior to her current position she has worked at the Mattress Factory (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) and the American Visionary Art Museum (Baltimore, Maryland). Cleveland earned her Masters of Art + Design Education with a focus in Community Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design (Providence). She also holds an undergraduate degree in Contemporary Art History and Printmaking from Western Washington University (Bellingham). Following her time at Western, Cleveland spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer teaching English in a rural Cameroonian village. She has been making books and zines since 2007. Cleveland’s zines are primarily full of illustrations and information; topics include favorite Texas swimming holes, Golden Girls, and National Parks. All of her zines are hand-drawn and bound.
