
All CAMH Members are invited to an exclusive Member Preview of Slowed and Throwed: Records of the City Through Mutated Lenses. From 6-7PM in the Nina and Michael Zilkha Gallery, members are invited to join Patricia Restrepo, Exhibitions Manager and Assistant Curator, along with selected participating artists for complimentary drinks and a private first look at the exhibition before the public opening reception at 7PM. Remarks will be made at 6:30PM.
DJ Red, the in-house DJ of Screwed up Records & Tapes, will be creating chopped and screwed jams live.

Slowed and Throwed is curated by Patricia Restrepo, Exhibitions Manager and Assistant Curator at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston; alongside guest curators Big Bubb, Owner of Screwed Up Records & Tapes; and E.S.G., rapper and member of the Screwed Up Click. The exhibition’s research advisors are Julie Grob, Coordinator for Instruction and Curator of Houston Hip Hop Research Collection at the University of Houston Libraries, and Rocky Rockett, independent hip hop educator.
