Spend a summer afternoon indoors and explore CAMH’s current exhibitions, Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe and the Teen Council 14th biennial exhibition, OUT OF STOCK, featuring work from Houston-area teen artists, through a variety of hands-on activities at the Museum!

CAMH’s Drop-In Experience feature guided in-gallery discussions and pop-up activities that provide creative opportunities to experience the exhibitions on view in a unique and meaningful way.
Led by our FAQ Team (Frequently Asked Questions), a group of artists and historians who assist with contextualizing CAMH’s dynamic exhibitions for diverse audiences. Drop-In Experiences are available between 1-4PM every Saturday. All ages are welcome; admission is always free.

Inspired by artist Tomashi Jackson building of textured surfaces made of textiles, paper, and other materials in the exhibition Tomashi Jackson: Across the Universe, layer decorative paper and found ephemera to create a one-of-a-kind textured collage.
Inspired by the Teen Council 14th biennial exhibition, OUT OF STOCK which includes artworks that question consumer culture, visitors are invited to blend style and sustainability by repurposing discarded materials into an eco-conscious crown.
