Open Letters by Mark Menjivar at Rothko Chapel

Rothko Chapel hosts a performance with Walls Turned Sideways artist Mark Menjivar as he presents Open Letters, an ongoing project that engages Texas communities in dialogue around capital punishment issues. Participants will be invited to respond to letters written by prisoners on death row that speak about their experiences and the trauma they and their families have faced post-conviction.

Registration will open on September 26, 2018, seating is limited to 40 guests. Please check here to register and for more information.

Doors for the event will open around 30 minutes before the program begins. We suggest arriving early to park and claim your preferred seat. If you have registered, you must check-in at least 15 minutes before start time in order to guarantee your seat. Please note any unclaimed seats will be released to walk-ups 15 minutes before the program begins. Walk-ups are welcomed, but are not guaranteed a seat.
