Garrett Bradley: American Rhapsody
About
Join us to celebrate Garrett Bradley: American Rhapsody, the first solo museum presentation of the work of New Orleans-based artist and filmmaker Garrett Bradley. On view in CAMH’s Brown Foundation Gallery, the exhibition features a selection of new and recent single and multi-channel films and videos. Bradley works across narrative, documentary, and experimental modes of filmmaking to address themes such as race, class, familial relationships, social justice, Southern culture, and the history of film in the United States.
Garrett Bradley: American Rhapsody is organized by Rebecca Matalon, Curator, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston.
The opening reception will feature a performance developed and choreographed by Donna Crump with dance students of the Coomer Ballet Conservatory at 7:30PM.
Complimentary beverages and beer provided by Lagunitas Brewing Company will be available for select membership levels from 6:30–8PM. Memberships will be available for purchase.
