Play > Pandemic | CAMH Teen Council-curated Music Zine

In socially-distanced fashion, celebrate the release of the CAMH Teen Council-curated Music Zine, Play > Pandemic, which will showcase the music that helped teens through the pandemic thus far. Featuring teen artists from the greater Houston area and reviewed by CAMH’s Teen Council, the artwork in this zine (a small-scale digital magazine) highlights the way teens consume or create music.

The Zine will be released on CAMH’s Issuu page and coincides with Teen Council’s biennial exhibition Turn On, Tune In, Tap Out, on view through Sunday, August 8, 2021.

About CAMH’s Teen Council

The Teen Council is a group of dedicated high-school students who are employed by the museum to create programming for their peers. Council members participate in a two year-long program where they receive in-depth, behind-the-scenes museum experience; learn about pathways to creative careers; and develop leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking skills while gaining real-world experience planning exhibitions and events in a museum setting. Applications to CAMH’s Teen Council are available at camh.org in the Spring 2021.
