Celebrate the second year of Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH)’s Teacher Advisory Group (TAG) with a special pop-up exhibition that features work from both students and teachers. The Teacher Advisory Group consists of 14 Houston Independent School District (HISD) teachers and one teacher from the Imani School who work in schools across the city. The group came together to share their knowledge and experience with CAMH, Transforming Self; Together is a culmination of that year of work. The art on view spans a variety of themes including memory, identity, legacy, and provocation with a wide range of media spanning installation, textiles, painting, sculpture, photography, and performance.
