Launched in October 2021, CAMH’s Teacher Advisory Group is a cohort of highly motivated and passionate teachers. The group was created for teachers to share their knowledge and experience with CAMH staff in shaping future programs and vision within the Education and Public Programs department. The Teacher Advisory Group provides strategic recommendations, support in writing exhibition-specific materials, and advocates for CAMH’s programs within their classrooms, schools, and community.

Taye is a young writer, DJ, and artist. Having experience in fields such as audio design, scene work, and photography; Taye enjoys indulging in community events where other people are benefited even in the simplest way possible. He currently resides as a writer at Kinder HSPVA as a student where he explores many forms of art including literary art, visual art, and the art of music.His motivation and background in writing comes from the freedom in words. The way that words will always be an escape is very appealing for him. All the forms of art that Taye takes part in give a sense of freedom; whether it be spinning the disks, writing a piece, or making music “it all gives me an escape route from real life”. He first found interest in the art of the “Disk Jockey” in the unhinging reality of the “Coronavirus Pandemic”. He used music to guide him through this dark time, he used the combination of art in DJing to find himself.
