Teen Council’s 25th Anniversary Biennial
About
Teen Council’s 25th anniversary biennial considers its history of teen programming and, as always, the contemporary conditions of Houston teen-hood, generated from a thematic open call posed by the council. For 25 years, the biennial has been teen-led in its conception, promotion, curation, exhibition design, and programming, and exhibits the work of local teen artists in the Nina and Michael Zilkha Gallery.
Teen Council is currently accepting submissions for this biennial through an open call through Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 12PM CST.

Teen Council’s 25th Anniversary Biennial is organized by Contemporary Arts Museum Houston’s Teen Council. 2024-2025’s Teen Council cohort comprises Peace Okoh, Anjali Martinez, Bela Kumar, Mylinh Bui, Sophia Zhao, Zarah Saffar, Mia Ramos, Ray Tian, Kerah Roque, Hemani Koppolu, Isabella Iandin, Chloe Cheuk, Andrew Hernandez, and Christopher McCord.
