Threat of Joy: Teacher Advisory Group Exhibition
About
Join us to celebrate the opening of Threat of Joy, the fourth annual exhibition organized by Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH)’s Teacher Advisory Group (TAG). The exhibition is organized by 15 Houston-area art teachers and showcases their art practice alongside that of their students. Recognizing joy as a form of rebellion and a powerful tool to move forward and persevere in times of struggle, this collaborative exhibition shows what brings us joy no matter what through paintings, textiles, drawings, animations, interactive installations, and more.
Throughout the evening there will also be an offering of colorful snacks, art viewing, and meeting artists and Teacher Advisory Group members.
