About

Joy is a form of rebellion and a powerful tool to move forward and persevere in times of struggle. Threat of Joy is a collaborative exhibition of student and teacher artwork showcasing joy and rebellion organized by Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH)’s fourth cohort of the Teacher Advisory Group (TAG). The thought-provoking work in the exhibition is made both to fight oppression, as a reminder to create in spite of a lack of motivation, and to choose joy when the pressures of the world can feel heavy and overwhelming.
