Join us as we explore Steven Evans: If I can’t dance, it’s not my revolution! using prompts, group discussion, and your imagination. Participants delve deeply into the artist’s world through stories and poems.
For the participants interested in sharing their work as a featured reader at the Reading on Thursday, September 12, 2019, they can submit their work to wordsandartsubmissions@gmail.com by midnight on Saturday, August 31, 2019. Works must be one page or less and must respond to the artworks in the exhibition Steven Evans: If I can’t dance, it’s not my revolution!. Submissions are judged by Mary Wemple and a guest judge. Featured readers will be announced on Friday, September 6, 2019. It is not required to attend the workshop in order to submit writing to be a featured reader.
The workshop is open to all writing levels.
