Founded in 1948, CAMH is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the United States. The following exhibition archive has been compiled from a variety of sources, including exhibition announcements, catalogues, newspaper articles, reviews, and interviews.

CAMH’s Archives are held by the Woodson Research Center Special Collections & Archives in the Fondren Library at Rice University.

There are two ways to search our exhibition history—either below through the “Search Archive” function or via a chronological listing by decade.

This online resource is being developed. If the information that you’re looking for is not yet here, please check back.
