Legacy Gifts

Since its inception in 1948, the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston has been a cornerstone of the ever-changing contemporary arts community. Through financial and estate planning, individuals can help ensure that CAMH is able to share art with the community for generations to come.

What is a Legacy Gift?

With a legacy gift you can:

  • Provide for your loved ones
  • Enjoy tax deductions
  • Make a more significant gift to the Museum than you could in your lifetime
  • Leave a lasting legacy for the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston

There are a variety of ways to fulfill your financial and philanthropic wishes with a legacy gift:

  • Bequests
  • Life Insurance Policies
  • Retirement Plans
  • Trusts
  • Stocks or Bonds
  • Gifts of Art*

*Because the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston is a non-collecting institution, gifts of artwork will be sold within two years of receipt. Proceeds may be designated by the donor.

Thank you for thinking of the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. CAMH welcomes the opportunity to assist interested individuals in making a meaningful legacy gift.
